Intimate Airbnb Elopement in Boone, NC

Yesenia and Deshon had the cutest, most intimate airbnb elopement in Boone, North Carolina. When they reached out they had already booked the one and only Aja with Fur and Lace Photography so I was already over the moon to get to film their elopement beside her. Once we got to talking, I became even more excited as they told me about themselves and their plans for their wedding day.

The airbnb that Yesenia found was an absolute gem. The little house was big enough for Yesenia and Shon and their best friends. We all spent the afternoon in the kitchen. Talking about comics and movies, drinking tea, and laughing hysterically. When the time came to get ready, Shon, Cameron, and Chris helped each other in the living room. They then headed up the hill to the ceremony spot on the property. Yesenia and Haley got ready while Yesenia’s mom watched her get in her dress on Facetime.

After everyone was ready, Yesenia and Haley walked up the hill toward the ceremony site to meet up with the guys. Shon’s reaction to seeing Yesenia in her dress was AH-MAZING. One of my favorite things about their video is Shon’s reactions. This is a great example of why video is so important! They shared their personal vows, exchanged rings, and Chris pronounced them MARRIED!

We headed down towards the barn (yes, all of this was part of the airBNB – perfect for their intimate elopement) so they could all celebrate together. All of the decor was done by Yesenia, everything was absolutely gorgeous. There was a real Game of Thrones vibe as we were all wrapped in furs as it was freezing! We ate, drank, and were merry! After they cut their cake, they celebrated their first dance and then everyone joined in on the dancing.
